I must admit, I've working on similar library, called Libgreattao and not published yet, but without html mesh. I think, that road selected by grantlee have a future.

The grantlee was spur me to work harder on libgreattao. I think, that one of this API's will die, but there's no reason to cry.

That's not exactly, what libgreattao will do, but it's quite similar. I think, that I have similar thought about apps engineering ;-) .

Skip going, grantlee developers!

Feel free to get in touch about collaborating. We might be able to work together instead of implementing different libraries with similar features.

All the best,

Steve

Libgreattao is published on sourceforge.net . I'm working on network support for libgreattao. You can download tao-network-client from sourceforge too. Tao-network-client is libgreattao's app, so you can run it as proxy server.

I have few applications(excluding demos application) written in libgreattao, but not published yet.

I have developed three backends to libgreattao: QT, GTK+ and console. Libgreat tao also supports shell mode.

You can read more about libgreattao on my blog: http://nintyfan.wordpress.com
