New KDE: slow, difficult to do simple things

When they first halled this carcass out and dropped it at our feet they disabled forum registration, presumably so there would not be an outpouring of protests.

Well I was finally able to register, and here we are.


Thank you for at least preserving the mass file edit rwx "advanced" window, not destroying that feature is something good I have to say about the whole thing.

What are you referring to? If you mean KDE SC 4.0, it was released January 11, 2008 [1]. This forum (the official KDE Community Forums) was launched October 12, 2008 [2].

So, what exactly is your point?

No, we never did that. And if you're talking about kde-forum.org, that was never an official forum, and that was the very reason why the official forum.kde.org came into existence.
