That's what 'i' is used for - if you remove it, you lose its functionality. What alternative are you proposing?

I think I know what you've talking about - there is one animated and one 'jumping' background, right? If yes, just delete all files that match lancelot/action-list-view-* except action-list-view-headers.svgz from the theme. (and please notify the author of the theme to do that as well)

The i hidden by default and only showing when there is an unread notification.

There has not been official talks but that is what I and few others have been waiting and there has been talks in blogs comments how it could be done. And different panels really would be needed to be possible get in acticities.

Because limiting one panel set to all acticities is like forcing a single desktop. Or having same widgets on every virtual desktop or having same widgets in desktop and dashboard.

With different panels, you can have different icons in different acticities. Having a acticities without panels at all. And when we would have possibility to "tie" applications to acticities, not all would need panels at all in them then.

But those are just talks and what I would like to see from 4.6. With different panel sets depending acticities, we could really have totally different kind activity setups. Even the plasma themes should be possible being changed per activity. It would be like having multiple different computers for every different tasks.

And those who would need only one panel (+theme) setup, then they would have it by default.

Well it's not final version yet. Qt is in beta stage too.

One thing I don't like is that it's using more memory than before. (?)

There are few bugs that border me, but the rest is good and better.

Now I can disable video in Gwenview, Activities and notifications work better.

Wallpaper settings - grid finally, but, there is no Remove button (to remove wallpapers).

Other than that I am waiting to see new version of KMail.....
