Hello.
I'm not sure if it is a known bug, I can't find anything in bugtracker. I'm not sure if it is a kde or kubuntu bug. Sometimes window titles in taskbar becomes messy. One of the title is being drawn over another. This happens when I'm setting two-line taskbar layout. I think the bug is there since 4.3. It's in kubuntu karmic (with 4.3.2), kubuntu lucid (with 4.4.2), kubuntu-ppa with 4.5RC2 (4.5.92). Does anyone have seen this bug too? Is it a known bug? |

A shot in the dark, if you have any 3d desktop effects try disabling them.

couple other things to try:
1) change desktop theme 2) try as a different user to see if there's a corrupted plasma rc file (these would be in ~/.kde4/share/config/ or ~/.kde/share/config/ depending on distribution). 3) remove the task manager then add it back |

Ok. I've tried to turn off 3d effects -- nothing changed.
My taskbar shows 3 titles in one row, then when 4th title appears -- it creates second row with titles. So to reproduce this bug I'm opening 5 windows (5 titles in taskbar), close one of them -- and then bug appears. |
