Hello
i wanna create new operating system, i don't want remaster some linux distro. first download kernel and install KDE and Xor.... can anybody tell me abut this Thanks |

Linux from scratch is quite an undertaking.
The next best thing which I have been using exclusively for the past 6 years is Gentoo. http://www.gentoo.org/ It has probably the best documents and forum. Like LFS this is a rolling distro. You install once and simply regularly upgrade w/o a new install. The nice thing about Gentoo is: You install only what you need,no bloat here. Gerard.
