Crash of Dolphin with Nepomuk

Tue Oct 05, 2010 2:38 pm
I can confirm that Nepomuk is sort of running on my machine. I was actually trying to get it to work--I don't need to disable it. Is there anything I can get that's particularly useful when I experience this crash again? I already installed the debug packages, and sent in a crash dump . . . any specific logs, etc? Anything diagnostic I can contribute?

I confirm this is Nepomuk related problem, as soon as I disabled Nepomuk all dolphin crashes/seqfaults stopped.since then I didn't have a single crash, perfectly stable hence the workaround of bug is to disable Nepomuk and keep it disable untill this bug get fixed. Here how to disable Nepomuk: * Click on K Menu --> Computer --> System Settings --> Advanced Tab --> Desktop Search. * Uncheck both the check boxed to disanle Nepomuk I hope this bug gets fixed soon, if devs need more information. I am happy to provide that.
