KDE like gnome-power-statistics

Thu Oct 23, 2008 10:19 pm
Hi,

i read article[1] with nice tips for notebook and ubuntu[put your favourite distro here, Fedora is mine]: and I want to ask you if there is something like gnome-power-statistics applet in KDE style? Some KDE3 app or plasmoid in development? That gnome applet did not work for me because "Could not connect to GNOME Power Manager." I don't want to solve the problem with that applet, I'm just asking if there is something in KDE for that task?

I'd like to know if there is something comparable to gnome-power-statistics for KDE 4.x as well. The information about battery life and health is really nice in gnome-power-statistics. It is comparable to coconutBattery for OS X.
