What you maybe mean is the license, which tells about the further usage. In the case of KDE software/artwork they are open source licenses. There you can do with it what you want, you can change it, sell it, redistribute it, whatever, depends on the license. But what ALWAYS should remain is the trademark. New to KDE Software? - get help from Userbase or ask questions on the Forums Communicate.
