Besides the demonstration of feasibility, I don't see a reason to use the Gnome panel in KDE, I can put the KDE panel wherever I want to as well. So if it is only to have the panel on top, there is really no need to do that :)


Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...

well...

js script ca be used to create panels for every user ... by default and not for one user .. that is the point you neeed to move and add widgets, every time you upgrade or when you change the system , or just when you create a new user , with js you need to do that only one time :)
