Great stuff, nowardev!

Hans:

Code: Select all
toad@archtop 508\8 ~ > packer -Ss byzanz
aur/byzanz 0.2.3-1
A simple tool to record a running X desktop to an animated GIF file.

toad@archtop 509\9 ~ > packer -S byzanz
Dependency `libpanelappletmm' of `byzanz' does not exist.
:(

I left a comment in the AUR.

toad: Ouch. (I was the one who suggested to add libpanelappletmm, since I couldn't compile byzanz without it.) This probably has to do with the upgrade to GNOME3.

I put up the libpanelappletmm package I installed here: http://mogger.ath.cx/libpanelappletmm-2 ... pkg.tar.xz (i686)
It has quite many dependencies, so I don't know if there's anything else missing. Another solution could be to look for a GNOME2 repo for Arch.

This is just a temporary solution though. It would be nice if libpanelappletmm could be made an optional dependence of byzanz - you only need it at compile time anyway.
