Yesterday I had just another reason to say THANKS KDE!
I got an external hard drive with a faulty partition table divided on four partitions I wanted to merge. The partition tool from my distro failed to do anything with that disk: it was only able to format the existing partitions but complained it was not able to change, resize nor even rename the partitions. Then, searching for alternatives I found the KDE partition manager, installed it from repo and half a minute later (most of it looking for the proper option on the menus: the whole process to make the new partition table and format everything took only 6 seconds...) I had a clean disk with only one partition. So: THANKS KDE!!!
