If so I think the chat application could be called Klairvoyance (releated to telepathy + has K at the beginning).

At this time, nothing in regards to this has yet been published. This is primarily because KDE Telepathy is still maturing and having it's core framework being developed into a usable state. I can imagine that eventually a replacement to Kopete will be suggested however.

kopete will eventually be replaced, but that wont be for a while until telepathy gets to a stable usable state, so you'll most likely still be using kopete in 4.7 and maybe even 4.8.
