KDE software testing process?

Mon Oct 17, 2011 7:01 am
I'm currently having a class about software testing and would be greatly interesting in KDE's own testing process - how long and how much do you test each release and how is your development process devised ?

Are there any public docs or manuals that illustrate or explain the process for KDE?

Cheers and thanks,
Sky

I think it is important to say that KDE is an umbrella organisation within which a wide range of software is developed and there are at least three main layers - Qt, the kdelibs and individual software that runs on top of these. Each has different requirements.

However, in view of the topic you are studying, you may be interested in http://news.opensuse.org/2011/10/11/ope ... of-openqa/
as many KDE developers already make use of the Open Build Service.
