I think KDE logo is not as beautiful as Gnome logo, it is ugly. KDE logo has been outdated. in contrast, Gnome logo is more innovative and creative than KDE logo.
I think KDE logo should be redesign. |

Are you referring to the KDE 3 era Crystal icon or the KDE 4 era Oxygen icon?

My OS is openSUSE 12.1 and therefor my desktop is KDE 4.7 I am talking about KDE logo (same as this forum favicon) not icon. |

The forum favicon is the Oxygen KDE icon though... You may want to post a picture to make sure we're talking about the same thing. Constructive feedback is also welcome, "KDE logo has been outdated" isn't very helpful.

but i think gnome logo is more cute than KDE logo. KDE logo is a little rough and inanimate.

GNOME logo is "smooth and warm" but thats it. Everyone likes footprints on sand but most do not like to walk with bare feets to anywhere.
The KDE logo is great. It has the K on it and it is blue and it is glossy with debth. If I would change KDE Oxygen logo, it would be a change of white K and gears on it, having something to them, maybe small inner shadow or shade or something to gears to separate it from K. Everyone are free to try out as KDE logo is SVG and available here http://kde.org/stuff/clipart.php Just download, edit it and paste here what would be improvement. Personally, I like the logo. |
