I tried KDE once about 11 some years ago but Gnome seemed to be the norm. I've had Linux on my laptop once in a while but usually found myself back to Windows for one reason or another. But now that Wine is getting mature, WinXP 32bit sucks and I don't wanna shell out more cash to MS I thought I would try again. But I didn't like the new Gnome 3.0 and it doesn't integrate with Wine that well. Looks like a Mac and everything was removed! Nothing works in LXDE so I thought I would try KDE and I'm impressed. Its come a long way since I last saw it. In a few days I've learned to do everything I need and can still run the few Windoze apps I need.
Great job guys! |

Yes a very streamlined experience. I love the functionality, the ease of most jobs. It does integrate well with wine. Visually appealing, and totally customizable.
I'm lovin it. I second that..... My hat is also off....keep up the good work |
