I'm trying to customize my desktop, where is the KDE favicon located ?

Using KDE 4.7

I am guessing you are referring to the menu, Kickoff, here. Right click on it > Application Launcher Settings > General. Click the button beside "Icon" which has the KDE icon on it then select your desired icon.
