My name is francesco, from italy, and i'm new in this forum and of the kde world.
I have a question to personalize my kde 4.7.4 (O.S. OpenSuse 12.1) bootsplash: What's the method to install this theme? http://kde-look.org/content/show.php/Su ... ent=117343.

Please, write every step for the installation of this theme, becouse i have never use KDE, and don't know linuk very well.

Are you referring to the pre-login screen bootsplash, or the post-login screen splash which appears prior to the KDE desktop?

My intention is to modify KDE in each aspect and my first question was for the theme post-login. But if you can help me to modify pre and post-login i will very happy to that.

For the pre-login theme, you will need to consult openSUSE folks - as that part is not controlled by KDE.

The post-login theme is a KSplash theme. These can be specified in System Settings > Workspace Appearance > Splash Screen.

Unfortunately i'm not sure on where you can find documentation on this format. You may be able to modify the default theme to suit the changes you need however.
