Hi All,

This is a tad bit off topic but I think it can be argued still related to KDE and all the hard work you guys put in.

I've pitched this idea in a couple of the forums I belong to and it looks like we have some interest:

I'm hoping to get all the FOSS (or at least the major ones) forums on board so we can think of a day that makes sense and a simple way to say thanks to all those who dedicate so much time making our computing lives better. Let me know if this is something that interests any of you (especially moderators, but of course others as well)

That does sound great and may help get more exposure about FOSS to mainstream culture. I have no opinion on the day that would work best; I just think a day of thanks would be great!
