It still works (zoom to your location and then just click on the "Add marker" button below the search box and then click on your location).
I just added myself but it's disappointing that I'm only the sixth person on the map just now. Where did all the rest go?

Still can't add any marker on the map. Even if i put my actual address google maps doesn't show me any option to do that.

No, apparently not, but that is actually Google's fault as they changed their map settings for shared maps. Closing the thread.
Might be a good idea to do this with Open Street Map instead...


Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...
