k3b 2.0.2
I'm using k3b to rip some audio CDs I wrote a few years ago. These CDs have a variety of miscellaneous songs on them and the CDs have a lot of errors. I want k3b to skip over these errors without retrying because there are too many. I set "Read retries" to 0 and it still reads bad sectors multiple times. How can I get it to stop? Also, I can't use any other ripper because the other rippers don't recognize my artist/song titles. k3b does. These albums don't match any real album since they are a mixture of songs but k3b seems to know the song names anyways. Other rippers don't. Why? |

k3b seems to be getting the artist name and song title off the CD where as the other rippers don't. That is why it shows up under k3b and not the other rippers. It isn't checking freedb. I don't know where this info is stored on the CD.
Still don't know how to ignore the bad sectors... |

You will likely need to use semi-specialist software to skip over bad sectors. AcetoneISO might be able to help here.
