Sun May 13, 2012 6:55 pm
Hi,

Can someone please explain me how to change, for read a cd, the used progam readom to cdparanoia ?

This is because, if I have good understood, cdparanoia has strong checks for read quality. :)

Thanks, amka

As best I can tell K3b is supposed to use cdparanoia (no idea how or why not listed in programs) but in the rip window -> advanced tab there is a paranoia mode option

you could also try Audex which uses cdparanoia http://kde.maniatek.com/audex/

Please see K3b > Settings > Configure K3b > Programs, which is where this option will be offered if available.
