I have had these problems since I started using K3b with SUSE 9.1
1) when you rip an entire CD, the default when ripping, it never rips the first song. It makes a very small .mp3 file and then rips the rest of the disk with no problems. I see no error messages but the first file is only 100KB long. I have to reopen the CD, select the first song by itself and rip it to get the entire CD. I though this would have been fixed by now. 2) When I rip a multi-disk CD set it always lists the first disk titles found by CDDB for all the disks. I have to manual correct all the titles for the second disk to the last disk. Windows gets this right with no problems. Other then these two on going annoyances the tool works pretty will. |

there's a bug report but the report seems to state this only happens when you deselect then select all the tracks https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=258074
if you login as a different user does it still happen? have you considered using soundKonverter or audex for ripping? |

As for the second issue, this seems like a libkcddb issue, please file a bug report at bugs.kde.org.
