User of K3b for longtime and i decided to upgrade my OS Ubuntu. Therefore it obviously ugraded all my software in the process. When originally used K3b I had an option for a DVD menu so on startup of play a menu popped up and you had to hit play. No after upgrade its not showing menu and I cannot find option in software and installed all addons. In some players I can hit play and it would load on others I get nothing.
Any Ideas thanks |

Hm, an upgrade sometimes can damage something. Could you configure k3b again? Or start with a clean configuration moving the older one from your home folder?

Yes I can configure k3b and get to all settings. Maybe I am missing something simple about the menu options. I use to have a DVD when with tilte and option to hit play when I put DVD into player. Now after upgrade after I DVD in it seems to load just from me seeing screen flash and I have to hit play to star "In most players". Also that is the only setting that i cannot find in K3b "Mebu option" . Maybe I nutz "sorry pretty new to Ubuntu" is there some way k3b uses another software for Menus? or does it have it's own menu option?
thanks for help. |

I'm confused - you used to use K3b to play dvds? are you confusing K3b with Kaffeine?

Still troubleshooting when i look at DVD file structure on Computer the move is in title 2 and title 1 is empty so somehow it looks like my setting are wacky. Seems thats why when i first put dvd into player its playing empty title then when i hit play once or twice jumps to title 2 where movie is.
Hope this made sence and spark some ideas. |

I would recommend contacting your distribution for further information in this case.
