Each time I burn a file in K3B larger than 2GB in a DVD-RW media, it automatically writes with an UDF extension.

the problem is: the next time I try to re-use the DVD-RW media, it needs to be formatted, then when I try
to do it, K3B gets stuck. the led in the drive blinks for some seconds, and then NOTHING!!! K3B is stuck .. even sometimes
it freezes my computer, and it only happens when I try to format DVDs previously wrote with UDF extension.

I know this is a fail of K3b (or the application that it uses to format/erase re-writeable media) because this fail
took me to test what happen if I format/erase media with different applications, so I made a test with IMGBURN
(under wine) and it did it right!!

So is there any solution or workaround?

Thanks in advanced guys.
