Hello,

I was asked to copy around 30 DVDs and I thought that I would hookup my external DVD burner to my desktop (with only 1 dvd burner) to do things faster, but it isn't exactly going according to plans. I have Mint 17.1 installed running XFCE and k3b 2.0.2 from the repos. Problem that I have is that k3b hangs at 100% and it won't finalize the burning process. External USB drive is used for writing, internal SATA for reading. After the burn process reaches 100% the external USB drive keeps spinning and blinking as if it's still writing. I waited for half an hour but it keeps doing the same. So far I ruined (at least I think) 4 discs trying out different solutions and nothing helped. Here are images and debug logs from one of these sessions.

I have to go out now, but when I get back I'll try to reverse the drives, use the internal one to write and get back with the results....
Let me know if you need anything else.

Hey, just to let you know that I did try to set the burners so that the external USB one is the reader and the internal one is burning the disk, but it didn't help, same errors popped up. In the end I just copied the DVDs with just 1 burner, by first creating an image on the hard drive. It took more time, but hey, it worked.

Cheers.
