Hi, guys at k3b.

1st of all, thanks a lot for this very cool application!

Just for informational purposes, but if you have a solution, I'd be happy hearing from you...
There's a problem while burning double-layer DVD discs with an LG slim external DVD writer (GP50NW40, HL-DT-ST DVDRAM).
With an "input/output" error after various speed tests at the beginning the burning phase stops. (any single layer ones usually get burned successfully)
I tried this with DL discs (Verbatim) number of times, but there's always the same result.
Then I used an LG GSA-E10N (HL-DT-ST DVDRAM) normal-size external Burner.
With this model, DL burning succeeded immediately. Not the big wow-effect (2,4x burn and little more) but without errors or problems.

Sys:
Xubuntu 16.04 on 2,xGHz i5-Laptop, 4GB RAM
K3b Version: 2.0.3
KDE Version: 4.14.16
External burner(s) plugged on USB-3 port, burners itself use USB-2.x Standard.

Thanks a lot for your support, if possible. :-)
Regards,

Hi,

I'm a fan of optical media. I'm preparing to put K3B (K Burn Baby Burn) to some tests. I'll feedback on my experiences.
