K3b is battle tested & way ahead of the likes of Asunder & GNOME Juicer, I've found very few audio CDs that do not work. However I've found a David Gates CD that ripped successfully yet took twelve hours for roughly 12 tracks. I am experiencing the same symptoms with a 2001 Warner Ray Charles compilation. CD1 rips at normal speeds, CD 2 however, is dog slow. 12 hours is a bit impractical at best?!?

The *** man!!! Linux has not let me down!?! Tried on mother's Solus tower & works fine with different hardware.
