Hi!
I have a bunch of MP3 files I want to burn to a CD to be played on a modern CD player that can read MP3. I understand that I should burn it as a "Data Project", but which burn settings are needed - for instance file system etc.?

I found an answer from 2006 - https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-4 ... art-0.html - which answers my question:
Make sure you burn your cd's with jolliet extensions. You will find the option in the dialogue that appears when you click the burn button.

Now the MP3 CD works, at least on a DENON CD player.
This part doesn't seem to be a problem:
Perhaps your player doesn't like spaces or funky character.. try making a cd with short regular letters in the mp3 names. like 1.mp3 2.mp3 ...
