Hi everyone!
I'm using Ubuntu 10.04, K3B 1.91.0-rc2-ubuntu3 (very packages installed belong to K3B in the same version), lame 3.98.2.
When I'm ripping an audio cd, everythings is working fine until the finish. At 100% K3B crashes, the mp3s are fine, but the programm is dead.
So I have to kill it and start again. Thats not what I expect of using a program.
This problem occours only using lame, not when I rip in wav-files.
Is there any help for me?

I have exactly the same problem when ripping to flac. Also on kubuntu 10.4.

your k3b's a bit old, current is K3b 1.93.0 RC4

try audex as a ripper it's a more full featured (installs covers in dir and embedds them and such)

Thanks a lot for your suggestion! Seems, that this software has all the features I want and had to use many programs before instead.
I will give it a try!
But it does not solve my problem itself. I don't want to drop this program away, because it does a really good work for years.

Till then I will use Audex.

Same here mainly rip to flac. I have fedora 13 2.6.33.5-124.fc13.x86_64, kde 4, flac-1.2.1-6.fc12.x86_64, lame-3.98.3-1.fc13.x86_64. I do use Audex which I find really good except for minor niggle see audex forum.

there's no audex forum, you obviously mean the kde-app.ork page for Audex

The bug is fixed (see Bug #241630). Fix will be available in K3b 2.0.1.
