Hello,
I am using Sabayon-Gentoo with KDE.
My KDE version is now 4.4.5
K3b is 2.0.0
2.6.34-sabayon #1 SMP Mon May 31 16:00:15 UTC 2010 x86_64 AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 810 Processor AuthenticAMD GNU/Linux

I tried making a copy of a movie on a 8.5 DL disk and both my computers (laptop and PC) are producing disks that are unreadable. My kernel is perfectly up to date. No errors during burning.
Does anyone have a similar problem?
It's not my hardware, because I would burn 8.5GB copies with previous versions of K3B.

Thanks for helping,
Richard

The DVD would probably not fit. I ripped the DVD into separate files and managed to burn it - 7.9GB.

To bad K3b cannot discover this kind of problem, I also tried the Simulate option which didn't find any problems, so continued burning my disk which would eventually become corrupt. Multisession was set to Automatic.

This should definitely be considered a bug in either K3b or the underlying software it uses to burn the disc.
