Can I use k3b to submit CD descriptive information to freedb or to CDDB? The CDDB settings indicate freedb, but is that what's actually being used? And how do I actually do the submission? The ripping screen has an action for "Save CDDB entry locally" but not for saving the entry to the online database.

see systemsettings -> hardware -> multimedia -> cddb retrieval -> submit

no idea how or if submission works, I do assume you'd need to change the server from freedb to cddb as a first step if that would be your preference

That page shows where the information is submitted but provides no way to actually carry out the submission. I can't find support for performing the submission anywhere else either, although there's a way to store the CDDB information locally,
