...and now K3B gives me some issues. To use a program called Spotlite i had to update my Ubuntu (Gnome) 10.04.2 with some files which is only available in the Kubuntu backports. So,i added the backport PPA in my sources.list and performed an update to get the missing files. After that K3B crashes everytime when i try to go to the configuration menu (Settings > Configure K3B). I've started K3B using the terminal and this is what i get:

Does anyone know what my problem is and how to fix it? I want to edit some settings in the configuration menu of K3B which i can't now.

It seems that you have updated some packages used by K3b. Please try running "kbuildsycoca4 --noincremental"

No it did not. Sorry for not telling it right away. K3B does start up but as soon as i go to Configure K3B, it shuts down. And then i have to restart it again.

Does DrKonqi appear when K3b crashes? If it doesn't, try opening Konsole and running K3b from there.
