This is sort of weird and did not happen before. Am now using K3b 2.0.2 and KDE 4.6.5. Each night i burn a two directory (Audio_TS and Video_TS) to my DVD-RW and now each time the program asks if i want to format the disk first. The program only offers a Yes or Cancel so i must format it. The program formats the disk again and then ejects it and another window pops up and i must click on the Load button and then the program burns the files.
If i remember correctly, this Format Disk only happened when i inserted a new DVD-RW the first time. Then on the following nights all i had to do was to just burn the files. Is this a bug or is there some setting i'm missing? Thank you for any help and have a great evening!

If you try this with other disks does this recur?

Thanks for asking, bcooksley! i appreciate your time and effort.
"If you try this with other disks does this recur?" Uh, i don't have any other type of disks - CDs, etc. - just the DVD-RW, Memorex, 10 Pack from Wall-Mart. It's pretty strange bec. i have in the main window towards the bottom another icon which says: "New Video DVD Project" and this is what i use to supposedly burn the new video files on top of the old ones. If i hit the icon which says More Actions... i see a menu which does have the Continue Multisession Project listed. Have a great morning !

Hmm. Can you reproduce this issue under a new user?

If you try a new disk (doesn't need to be a different manufacturer, batch - just a different/new disk) does this occur with that disk?
Your old disk may be aging - causing it formatting problems.

Thanks again for helping!
"If you try a new disk (doesn't need to be a different manufacturer, batch - just a different/new disk) does this occur with that disk?" This i have tried as well and it proceeds to place the files on the new disk, this time without asking (as i think it used to do) if i wanted to format the disk first. Then, the next day, when i want to burn the new files, i get the popup asking if i want to format the disk. Have a wonderful afternoon!

Okay, I unfortunately don't have any ideas here - other than perhaps you might want to try just adding files perhaps to see if it has the same reaction?
