K3b dvd no sound, no play

Steve McAbee Registered Member Posts 1 Karma 0 OS	K3b dvd no sound, no play Fri Mar 02, 2012 4:52 am Well I am a brand new user of this product so please forgive my ignorance. My OS is Linux Mint-lisa. I want to make a movie dvd that I can play on my TV using a sony dvd player. I'm using Shotwell to compile the movie. K3b burns my project onto disk okay but it has no sound. It plays okay on the computer movie player but my sony dvd player doesn't recognize the format. I've looked for similar posts addressing this issue but haven't seen anything close. Please help me!

You can see those in the Settings Menu -> Configure K3b -> Programs Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11 FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...
google01103 Manager Posts 6668 Karma 25	Re: K3b dvd no sound, no play Fri Mar 02, 2012 12:20 pm what kind of video output files does Shotwell produce? for it to be playable eventually on your Sony dvd player it needs to be in a folder with 2 sub folder: audio_ts and video_ts containing files name with extensions like vob, ifo and *bup inside OpenSuse Leap 42.1 x64, Plasma 5.x
