Open File Location

Thu Dec 13, 2012 4:54 pm
the topic was a thread allready viewtopic.php?f=154&t=95394
but it is for me still (kde 4.8.5, opensuse12.2) not solved and i allmost can't belive that others do not need such a function.

in dolphin > search > nepomuk search is opening = ok!
- search for a file > result list is showing = ok!
- opening a file (i.e. /home/blabla/test.txt )= ok!
??? but how to open the parent folder of that file in dolphin???

solution could be:
- in the context menu (right click) should be an entry „open folder“ which opens file://home/blabla

this function i use very often and that's why i'm still using google desktop search v1.2.0.0088 (!)
i would like to change to nepomuk... bye

Please see http://simplest-image-hosting.net/png-0-d18593
I have had two entries "Open Path in New Window" and "Open Path in New Tab" which have performed the desired action for quite a while now.
