unable to suspend nepomuk file indexing at user login

At user login, nepomukservicestub and virtuoso-t produce much I/O stress for quite some minutes.
During this period I supposed that clicking in Nepomuk Controller on "Suspend File Indexing" would pause this process, but It has no effect.

Is that an expected behavior? Are there any methods to mitigate I/O stress at user login?

Thanks

The Nepomuk Indexing process runs as "nepomukindexer" rather than "nepomukservicestub". If you get the full command for the "nepomukservicestub" application I suspect you will find it is the "filewatcher". Can you please confirm this?
