Hi!
As you know, virtuoso (Nepomuk) database grows to enormous dimension. My home partition isn't ready for storing 4 GB (!) file (yes, I've reduced indexing list). So I thought it should not be difficult to move it to bigger one, but I didn't find any way to make it in configuration window/file. Symbolic link doesn't work as well. Any solution? |

Thanks for reply, but I want to move database permanently from .kde4/share/apps/nepomuk/repository to another directory and make Nepomuk to use it instead of creating a new database.

Hmm, symlinking the directory ~/.kde4/share/apps/nepomuk elsewhere should work.
If it doesn't, you could try a bind mount instead as a potential workaround.

Well, you're right. It was my fault: I've just stopped indexing and it didn't work. Right solution is to stop nepomuk processes (I stopped all to be sure it will work), change name of the old folder with repository (or remove it), make symbolic link to the new one and then start nepomuk (or restart system). Thanks!
