I erroneously started KDE as root once and now whenever I start KDE as a normal user, I get a prompt to run nepomuk as root. How do I change it back so it doesn't try to run as root anymore?

I guess it gets started as part of the session management. Just press cancel when asked for the root password and log out, it should then not start anymore on next login. Or select "Start with empty session" in systemsettings->Launch and Quit->Session Management if you prefer that. No programs left open will then be started on login anymore. |

Please provide a screenshot of this dialog to launch Nepomuk as root. It could very well be attempting to increase the open file or file watch limits, which are a necessary part of the file indexer and other components of Nepomuk.

Thank you for the replies. I chose to go the system settings route and it doesn't prompt anymore. The other apps that were prompting for root access don't anymore, either. Thanks.
