For some reason I don't have an entry in System Settings for semantic desktop search (current Debian testing). I guess I'm missing some package, but I'm not sure which one. Any ideas what's needed to enable it? Out of kde-full, I'm missing these packages: http://pastie.org/9463622
Also, do you think some of them are important to install? My current setup was created by Debian installer for KDE which didn't setup kde-full. |

Are all other parts of Nepomuk present (nepomukserver, nepomukservicestub, etc) on your system?

Yes, these are installed by the nepomuk-core-runtime which is present:

Is this a Wheezy, or Unstable/Sid/Experimental system?
If so, the necessary KCM appears to have been removed from Unstable/Sid/Experimental - probably because you need to install Baloo instead.

It's Debian testing (which is close to Unstable in logic). Is Baloo an intended replacement? I installed missing Baloo packages (baloo4 baloo-utils libbaloowidgets4) and now desktop search is back in System Settings. It's different from before though. Just enable / disable switch and the optional list of exceptions. Thanks for the hint!
