File names that contain special characters seem to be confounding the indexer. An ampersand caused the remainder of the directory to not be indexed. An apostrophe (single quote) caused the next file not to be indexed and an underscore caused the particular file not to be indexed.

I thought that there was a bug fix for this a year or two ago, but my search turned up nothing.
