Is there an expiry set to baloo index after which it reindexes all files? If so, can this be modified?
I have experience today that baloo_file took over my system for almost 10 minutes rendering it completely unsuable. I did not copy anything new to the system for hours and the new things I copied few hours ago were altogether 3MB which cannot explain this.
The only explanation for such a prolonged takeover is that it was completely reindexing everything.
