baloo ignoring python files

Sat May 05, 2018 8:03 pm
Can someone explain this? Why is baloo ignoring python files? Is this a bug?

Code: Select all
user@debian:~/temp$ ls
test.py  test.txt
user@debian:~/temp$ find . "test*"
.
./.test.py.un~
./test.txt
./test.py
./.test.txt.un~
find: ‘test*’: No such file or directory

user@debian:~/temp$ baloosearch -d ./ test
/home/user/temp/test.txt
Elapsed: 23.6744 msecs
user@debian:~/temp$ baloosearch -d ./ "test"
/home/user/temp/test.txt
Elapsed: 23.558 msecs

no, that is the wanted default behaviour.

$> balooctl config show excludeMimetypes
