Hi buddies!

Today I started (again) Baloo File Indexer or simply Baloo.
Of course I noticed the usual system impact, mainly disk/IO related.

Searching/googling on Internet info about Baloo I couldn't find any positive review or blog about Baloo.
I sincerely would like some suggestion of good articles or posts in blogs about uses and pros on use Baloo.
Are there someone taking any advantage on it? Are there some good reason to keep it running on KDE?

Thanks in advance!
Best Regards!

If it is working as expected, there won't be much talk about it, compared to complaints.
I use the search functions in Dolphin often, particularly for specific text in various Word docs, pdf, and odt files.
I also like filtering by media type and timeframe, which is also useful as I often don't keep my files neatly organized.
I have not noticed any heavy disk i/o in years now, and I have added various ssd and spinning drives to be indexed on my PC. My main drives have been SSDs for a number of years, to be sure.

It is fast and works without issues for me.
