i'm having kind of a strange problem here. When i open the "application launcher" the cursor is not active in the search field. When i click into it it does find nothing.
I tried to embedd the images but cannot make it work.

When i open krunner itself it works like a charm and when i remove the current panel and add a new one the issue is fixed (cursor active in search and can find stuff) but only until i reboot, after that it's broken again. I don't know what to do here, can anybody help me out?

I noticed that when i hit the super key (opens the application launcher on my primary display) and start writing a search term it is not put into the search field, but if i then open the application launcher on my second screen the text i just typed got instead inserted in its search field. Which then also works as expected.

To get around this i bound the hotkey ALT+F1 to the application launcher on my secondary display that had the text inserted. Now when hitting "super" the application launcher works as expected.

But when i open the Application launcher on my "primary display" per "mouse click" it still inserts its text into the secondary displays "Application launcher" and still does not find anything even when i put the text directly into the search field as shown in my image.

Did you try with a new user? I can't reproduce this on my system.

I happen to have also kubuntu installed where i haven't got any issues either.

Ah, so that only happens with more than one Application Launcher present
