KDE 4.4 Nepomuk

Fri Feb 12, 2010 7:50 am
I have matters with KDE SC 4.4. Nepomuk won't search files by comments. I suppose, that's good behavior, but It's misfortune for me.

Where can I switch on search by file comment option.

Another problem is, that I can't search by tag today.

Anyway, please tell me, how allow to search files by comments.

I know, that using comments instead of tags could brinks mess, but tags should be organized. When I tries to add new tag, called "Physics examine 4, examine 5", it will brink higher mess than previous. Tags don't exist to be still removed, added, etc. Tags also shouldn't be empty and there should be many files to one tag.

You may wish to file a feature request at bugs.kde.org. This is a limitation of the Dolphin search query generator. Since comments and tags are stored in Nepomuk.

Oh. That may be a bug in the Nepomuk Runner then.

My file. I have installed Redland and Virtuoso Sporano's backend. I have removed Redland backend. I can now search files by comments.

Thanks.
