Semantic search of mp3

Sat Feb 20, 2010 6:17 pm
Hi,
is it possible to use nepomuk for searching mp3? For example if in dolphin or folderview I insert:

nepomuksearch:/artist:Name
nepomuksearch:/performer:Name

nothing is found. I have installed Lucid Alpha 2 with kde 4.4 and 'hasTag' works, for example.

Is there a webpage with all the commands usable with nepomuk for search things?

Thanks

You will need to enable Strigi before searching by file metadata or contents is possible. Otherwise, you should be able to use the Dolphin Search interface.

Strigi is already enabled; did you mean that this query

nepomuksearch:/artist:Name or nepomuksearch:/performer:Name

works in your folderview?

Despite Strigi having indexed my content, it appears that Music is currently an unindexed type, as I didn't get anything either.
