turned indexing back on (it's so humorous to see what
new screwup will occur)

this time, after working apparently fine for a couple of
days, it suddenly began re-indexing and found - suspicously
- an extra 10,000 files. Twice as many as were there
before.

Now in dolphin the searches show every hit twice _ identical
file name, size etc

I guess I'm supposed to erase the index database and start
over?

Can't wait for kde 6 when this might work half decent (I'm an
optimist)

same here, some files appear even 3, up to 7 times
is there any way to remove duplicates of the index?

also home is specified to be "part of USB DISK", but it's definitly not!

Has a bug been filed at bugs.kde.org regarding this?

Also, are there any symlinks in the indexed directories which may be causing the Strigi indexer to find files multiple times?
