Hello to everybody out there!
is there any possibility to customize the position of strigi/neponuk database directory? I tried to symlink $HOME/.kde4/share/apps/nepomuk/repository/ to another directory, but it seems not work. I've a large index to build and I want to save space on my hardware RAID5 SAS array, dedicated to /home , by placing the indexes elsewere.

Did you do the symlinking whilst logged into KDE, or outside of KDE?

stupid me! I stopped _only strigi_ before symlinking and nepomuk crashed! Creating the link outside KDE4 works like a charm....or more precisely I could not index PDFs, but this would be another story..
