Looking at K16 announcement I think people went somewhat off topic and started discussing about metadata and how it's managed on KDE.
That discussion made me think that while embedding metadata in files is a huge time saving as every user of a file can benefit from other's time, in-file tagging it can bring important privacy issues. Some tags are useful to everyone (For example: the city where a picture was taken) but other tags might be private (my "stupid-boss" was on that picture) and we don't want those to be attached to the picture if we send it to our boss, right .What do you think about this use case? |
