I have what seems to be a rather rare problem after the upgrade to 4.6. I had nepomuk working with dolphin in 4.5, and it worked like a charm. I had tested by searching (in dolphin's search bar) for a word that only exists in one of my (many, many) pdf documents, and it found said document, blazingly fast.

Now, after the upgrade, AFAIK nepomuk/strigi are still up and running and properly configured, but it's just impossible to do a search like before. If I enter a string, select "content", and do a search, it does a namesearch besides a content search, which would be fine, were it not for the fact that it is SLOW. On the other hand, with the filter sidebar, selecting for instance, Documents, yields what seems a list of all my pdf's in the indexed location; however searching through such list is utterly impossible, because after introducing the search string, dolphin just seems to forget about that document listing, and starts doing a filename search.

Finally, I thought I'd point out that, whenever I search for a string, dolphin's titlebar changes to a phrase that starts with "filenamesearch". When I select one or more of the entries in the title bar however, the title changes to a phrase starting with "nepomuksearch".

I am utterly grasping at straws with this one; I just can't figure out how to get the same functionality I had before. Ideas anyone? Thanks in advance.

If you change between "Content" and "Filename" then the search should change as well.

I was aware of that, but that image made noticed something I'd missed: the "From Here (<location>)". I was trying to search with nepomuk from a folder that it does not index (which worked in 4.5), and it did a filename search.... if I change to one of the nepomuk indexed folders, it works as expected. A little heads up would have been nice.. but better late than never
